Sportcar Arash AF-10 draw down the engine from the Corvette Z06 LS7 .
Supercar Arash AF-10 first appeared in public nearly three years ago, when in 2006 at the Motor Show in London debuted its experimental prototype. Since then, the British company Arash Cars has undergone some personnel changes and overcome the crisis, and only now approved the final design of its sports coupe, which was first demonstrated in serial form. Arash AF-10, which is to some extent, not very good copy of the Ferrari Enzo, designed to be a supercar, available for buyers who are a bit short of money for an Italian sports car. The expected cost of new items will be $ 534 000, while the manufacturer hopes that it will win the audience of other manufacturers of compact supercars such as the Koenigsegg and Pagani, as well as lower prices of cars such as Lamborghini brands and Ferrari. Most of the sports coupe body AF-10 is made of carbon fiber, including the chassis, which has a positive impact on weight - the weight of the British supercar is not more than 1200 kg. This is 160 kg less than the Ferrari Enzo and 500 kg less than the mass of a massive Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. The source of power in favor 7,0 liter V8 engine from the Corvette Z06 LS7, generating 550 hp and has 630 Nm of maximum torque. Thrust in the car is fed to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual gearbox Graziano. In the near future, the manufacturing company plans to introduce top-end version of the AF-10S, equipped with a turbocharger. This high-power versions make 800 hp and 750 Nm of maximum torque. In the long term - release versions rated at more than 1,001 hp and 950 Nm of peak torque. In the next five years is planned to release only 70 cars, and if there is demand, the automakers may represent a cheaper model called the AF-8, which will naturally become less powerful (and less expensive) version of the Arash AF-10.
